Иосиф-Константин (Carpue, 1764-1846) — английский хирург и анатом, написал: "A Description of the muscles of the human body" (Лонд., 1802), "An Introduction to electricity and galvanism" (Лонд., 1803), "An account of two successful operations for restoring a lost nose from integuments of the forehead" (Лонд., 1816). Последний труд описывает первые удачные опыты ринопластики, сделанные в Европе (1814-15).
