(Sherwood) — английская романистка (1775—1851). Дочь капеллана Георга III, Вильяма Вутта, она долго жила в Индии. Лучшие из ее романов: "Scenes from Real Life" (1838—39); "Lady of the Manor"; "Hedge of Thorns"; "History of Little Clar e"; "Flowers of the Forest"; "Parson's Case of Jewels Reopened" (1861); "History of Henry Milner"; "History of Little Henry and his Bearer"; "Little Woodman"; "History of Susan Gray"; "Monk of Cimies" (1869).
